Arrival Marrakech 09:20 am, transfer to hotel and drop off luggage.
City Tour/ Guided Sightseeing: Explore Marrakech with a local guide, including palace Bahia, Saadien Tombs, Jardins Majorelle, afternoon and evening, Jamna el Fnaa square and souks.

Sunday, April 1
Morning Transfer Marrakech to Ouarzazate:
Visit Telouet , the Kasbah palace of the former pasha of Marrakech, Al-Thami el Glaoi.
4x4 Transfer to Ait Ben Haddou: world heritage site and where “Gladiator” was filmed.

Monday, April 2
Transfer Ouarzazate to Todra Gorges:
Visiting the palm grove of Skoura planted in the 12th century by the Almohad sultan, Amerhidil Kasbah. (a Kasbah is a fortified castle or “Tighremt” in berber).
Continue on to El Kelaa M’Gouna - the heart of rose country, (Rosa Damascus from Mecca), where 4,000 tons of petals are harvested each year.
Visits Boulmane du Dades and the Dades gorge then continue with 4x4 drive to Todra

Tuesday, April 3
Todra Gorges to Merzouga and Erg Chebbi:
Introduction to the camel team in Merzouga, and take a 3 hour trek to Erg Chebbi which are vast dunes about 30 km long and up to 820 feet high. If there has been some rain, then the lake Dayet Srji may be full, in which case there should be pink flamingos and storks visiting.
Overnight Oasis/ Camp in the dunes (Equipment supplied, but bring your own tent and gear if you'd like)

Wednesday, April 4
Erg Chebbi to Mercissi:
4x4 drive to Mercissi, and the M’harch oasis through the Sahara. Continue on with a short trek to the camp in an area of many small dunes - the Sahara as seen in many famous films
Overnight Oasis/ Camp in the dunes. (Equipment supplied)

Thursday, April 5
Mercissi Dunes to Zagora:
Visit palm groves, Tamegroute and the priceless manuscripts in the Bibliotheque Coranique, 11th Century Koran and calligraphy. Visit Tamegroute green glazed pottery workshops.

Friday, April 6
Zagora to Taroudannt: The “Marrakech of the Anti-atlas”
Visit the two Souks in the main squares, one Berber, one Arab for shopping and sightseeing.

Saturday, April 7
Taroudannt to Essaouira:
Drive via Agadir and the amazing Atlantic coast route.
Spend the afternoon on beach, or in medina: shop, play, relax…

Sunday, April 8
Morning in Essaouira:
After lunch, travel to Casablanca, explore and dinner in Casablanca.
