The famous land of the Pharaohs, the Pyramids, and the Sphinx...

With visits to Cairo, Giza, Luxor, Karnak, the Theban Necropolis, Mount Moses, Mount Katerina (Egypt's Highest Point), the Sinai Desert, and the Red Sea.
Join us for as we boad for a 3 day Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor, with visits to all the famous site of Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna.

For active traveler, this is a unique adventure to explore Egypt in the most diverse way. Unlike most other itineraries for Egypt, this excursion will not only hit the scenic cities of Cairo and Luxor, but challenge you with a hike up Egypt's high point, Gebel Katarina and as an option, add an ascent up Gebel Musa (Mt. Moses). Add a short journey through the Sinai Desert life the Bedouin way. In addition, we will be diving and snorkeling the coral reefs and lounging on the laid back beaches of Dahab, integrated to capture the essence of the Red Sea.

Saturday, March 29: Cairo -- Egyptian Museum & Antiquities, explore city; plus Night Bazar
Sunday, March 30: Cairo --  Visit Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, The Citadel, Explore Khan El-Khalili Bazaars

Monday, March 31: Connect to Aswan -- Visits to Philae Temple and the High Dam -- Start Nile Cruise
Tuesday, April 1: Nile Cruise -- Kom Ombo and Edfu -- Visits to the Temples of Sobek & Haroeris and Temple of Horus
Wednesday, April 2: Nile Cruise -- The Valleys of Kings, Temples of Queen Hatchepsut / Deir El Bahari Temple
Thursday, April 3: Luxor -- Temples of Karnak and Luxor -- Evening Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh

Friday, April 4:  Sharm/ Dahab  -- Optional Camel Trekking or Diving and Beach options
Saturday, April 5: Sharm  -- Red Sea and Sinai Options: Snorkel and/or Dive, relaxing on the beach

DETAILED ITINERARY

Friday, March 28: Direct flight from JFK 6:30 pm to Cairo 11:15 am

Saturday, March 29: Cairo -- Arrival and transfer to your hotel.
After lunch, we will get a tour of the Egyptian Museum.
Later on, we will explore the city and possibly stop at the Old Bazaar.
Optional Nocturnal Activity - Visit to the Night Bazaar.
Overnight in 3 star hotel, Cairo

Sunday, March 30: Cairo --  After Breakfast, full day program with visits to the Pyramids of Giza, The Sphinx, The Citadel. Explore the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali, the Old Churches and SKhan El-Khalili Bazaars

Monday, March 31: Connect to Aswan via domestic flight:
We will transfer to the Nile cruise Boat, Embarkation before lunch.
In the afternoon we will start our Aswan tour and visit The High Dam and the Magnificent  Philae Temple.

Tuesday, April 1: Nile Cruise: -- Kom Ombo, Edfu, and Esna.
Start sailing to Kom Ombo and visit the Temple shared by the two gods: Sobek & Haroeris
Later in the day, we’ll continue sailing to Edfu. Excursion to the Temple of Horus.
In the evening, we will sail to Esna, crossing the famous Esna Lock.

Wednesday, April 2:
Nile Cruis -- The Valleys of Kings, Temples of Queen Hatchepsut / Deir El Bahari Temple
Before arriving in Luxor, we will cross to the west bank to visit the Necropolis of Thebes, Valley of The Kings, and the Queen Hatchepsut Temple.  
That evening, we will visit the world famous temples of Karnak at Luxor.

Thursday, April 3:
 Luxor -- Open Day -- Evening Transfer to Sharm El Sheikh
We will disembark after breakfast and enjoy a free day in Luxor.
At 5:00pm we will transfer to LXR Airport and fly to directly Sharm El Sheikh, Sinai and check into our hotel.

Friday, April 4:  Sharm -- Optional Camel Trekking or Diving and Beach options
Free day to enjoy its marvelous sandy beaches, go for optional  diving, fishing trips, Safari trips, Bedouin Dinner, snorkeling, glass bottom boat, and much more!
Overnight Sharm El Sheikh

Saturday, April 5: Sharm/ Dahab -- Red Sea and Sinai Options: Snorkel and/or Dive, relaxing on the beach
or Sinai Options: Hike St. Katarina (Gebel Katarina)/ Mount Sinai or Climb Mount Moses (Gebal Musa)
In the early morning, desert crossing to St. Catherine, ascend Mt. Moses and/ or visit the presumably oldest Monastery in the world.
In the evening, we will travel back to Sharm with the rest of day free for optional activities.
Overnight Sharm El Sheikh

Sunday, April 6:  Early morning Air Transfer and connect to Cairo, 9:15 am flight for New York to arrive 3:15 pm

Optional Camel Trekking - Camping under the Stars - in the Sinai Desert:
Explore the Sinai Desert with local Bedouins.   The day camel ride will take you over the plateau of the White Mountains with its fantastic sand stone formations.  You will also visit the White Canyon, the Closed Canyon and the Ein Khudra Oasis.   Each night You will sleep outside under a million stars.

Daily schedule:
7:30 am-- breakfast (fresh bread made by the Bedouins over the fire, cheese, salad, jam, tea, coffee)
9:00 am--the camels will be packed, ride begins (each person has his/her own camel) and goes for 2 or more hours
12:00 pm--lunch (beans or lentils, salad, bread and cheese)

2:00 pm-- move on for another 2 hours riding till you reach the place where you will spend the night
5:00 pm-- dinner (rice with chicken or rice with vegetables, tea)
